Engineers are required for the STF test programme. Their tasks will include integration of the Yahsat sub systems into one complete system. running tests from test procedure documents , fault finding, fault reporting with debug information, fault solution testing and support to field personnel in the UAE. These engineers most be capable of working on their own and also be able to liaise with other departments and teams on technical issues.

The candidate must demonstrate the following skills;

Experience of Satellite modems

Military Communications Systems

Tactical Modem System

Understand the concept and experience of working with-

-Point to Point / Point to Multi point systems

-Radio Plans

-Link Budgets

-RF matrix management

The following would be of benefit but are not essential:

Experience of RF transmission systems & Antennas

IP modem experience

Cisco CCNA/CCDA level of networking experience

Other Criteria

The candidates must be willing to work extra hours as required – these may included evening and weekends to suit should Business demand arise and be able to deploy to the UAE for work as and when required.
