The job

MDO Design Engineer

• Responsible for the production of drawings, models, assembly models, Bill of Materials, Engineering Change Notes, e-mails, memos related to the Configured items for the allocated project(s) to cost and schedule as delegated by the Lead Design Engineer. Control, correctness, accuracy and relevance of the above are to be self checked using check lists and CATIA procedures.

• Ensuring all the MDO Design Engineer outputs for the project are correct to the project requirements as stated by the Lead Design Engineer or the Responsible Engineer. All the project DO outputs must be self checked, stamped and passed to the lead Engineer or RE where relevant.

• Support to other general DO activities i.e. process improvements, bid etc.

• Specific responsibility for the estimation and planning of DO related activities and manpower requirements to meet those tasks. Allocation of manpower is sought through the line management.

• Supervision of other D.O. Design Engineers working on the project.

• Support to other general D.O. activities i.e. process improvements, bids etc.
