Qualifications and experience needed by applicants
HND/Degree in a Communications or Electronic Engineering subject.
Advanced Level Microsoft Office
Suitable experience in a Defence / Aerospace environment with Commercial / Project Management background.  
Experience of Software Procurement management.       
Willingness to travel as and when required
Knowledge of product assurance principles.
Awareness of appropriate standards for space, ESA, ECSS, DSCC, MIL, etc
Knowledge of Company Quality Systems ISO 9001
Role is based in UK, 20% of time spent on business trips to Madrid for which expenses will be paid in accordance to policy.
Alternatively candidates based in Madrid area will be considered and payments/contract (compliant to international legislation) could be made in Euros rather than Stirling

Supplier Relationship Manager responsible for managing the procurement of the Full Operational Capability phase of the Galileo Ground Control System Programme. Specifically the.
Tracking, Telemetry and Control Facility (TTCF) and
Flight Dynamics Facility (FDF)
To manage the purchase phase of the supply chain core process and deliver equipments to projects on time, to cost and fulfilling all performance and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
Delivery of equipments from suppliers, suppliers such as GMV, Madrid Flight - Dynamics Facility for Galileo Ground Control Segment and Indra, Madrid, TTCF (Telecommand telemetry control facility.
Day-to-day management of contract implementation (multi-project, international); timely and accurate reporting to PSMs; facilitate appropriate technical interaction between project and supplier
Acquiring in-depth knowledge of supplier leading to effective control of supplier
Identifying risks and proposing/agreeing mitigating actions
Delegated responsibility for quality; organizing expert, chairing design and production reviews
Completion of annual supplier evaluation (with appropriate support)
Local follow-up/support to development plans
