Qualifications and skills needed by applicants
Relevant SW Eng/ IT / Comms degree or equivalent.
Strong C and C++ experience.
UML (rational rose) and Linux OS experience
Knowledge and application of CE/CX Spectra Prismtech SCA toolset, IP routing and services, web services
Demonstrable practical coding in a high technology product engineering environment with SW configuration skills.
Ability to work in a matrix managed team i.e to work more than 1 job at any one time.
THE ROLE
The Modem Product Group produces a range of market leading products under the brand name Proteus. As part of an ongoing and ambitious product development programme there are a number of waveforms which need development, integration and testing onto the qualified HW platform.
In order to support these activities the modem group requires a highly competent and experienced SW Engineer with expertise focused on waveform application development and testing.
